An effective supplement for horses that need detoxification and stabilisation of the gut system. Jerusalem artichokeshave, first and foremost, a strong prebiotic effect in the form of inulin, which strengthens conditions for the good bacteria in the horses large intestine. This means the horses ability to break down and thereby absorb feed and nutrients is improved. In addition, Jerusalem artichokes contain large amounts of vitamin C, which supports the horses immune system and improves the horses defences against external influences, while also helping to prevent imbalances in the metabolic system.

The prebiotic effect from Jerusalem artichoke inulin ensures optimal elimination of undesirable bacteria and fungal spores.

Milk thistlehas a high proportion of biologically available flavonoid, silymarin, which supports the liver and strengthens the elimination of waste products. Milk thistle is a good supplement for horses that need to cleanse their system and as support for the liver.

Seaweedprovides powerful nutrients and minerals to the horses body, which can be beneficial during and after periods when the horses gut system has been out of balance and therefore has not absorbed enough nutrition.

Beetrootis a unique source of betalainswith powerful antioxidant and cleansing properties. Beetroot helps to detoxify and protect the liver.

Sea buckthornis full of antioxidants, primarily from its high vitamin C content. Sea buckthorns vitamin C content helps protect cells against oxidative stress.

Diatomaceous earth(or silicon) primarily strengthens the horses hooves and strengthens the hoof lamellae to be more firmly bonded together during pressured periods. In addition, research suggests that diatomaceous earth strengthens resistance to infections from the horses environment.

Artichokereduces bloating and decreases appetite. Artichoke contains a large proportion of bitter substances in the form of cynaropicrins that affect stimulation of gastric acid production, increase the horses peristaltic movements, and improve digestion of even difficult-to-break-down feedstuffs. Promotes the breakdown of fat and especially undesirable fat deposits such as along the crest and over the tailhead. The primary biologically active substance in artichoke is cynarin. Cynarin can affect the liver and stimulate its detoxification ability, as this substance increases blood flow.

Hawthornhas a strong antioxidant effect and reduces the breakdownof the horses own cells. Hawthorn also contains active substances that enhance the effect of vitamin C in strengthening the horses blood vessels, so that waste products can be more effectively cleared from the blood.

Nettlesupports healthy digestion and eliminates metabolic waste products. Nettle also regulates the horses fluid, salt and pH balance.

Dandelion rootis one of the plants with the highest known content of phytonutrients, which strengthen liver function in connection with detoxification of waste products. In addition, dandelion root has a diuretic effect without the horse developing a potassium deficiency, and accumulations of waste products are led out of the body via the kidneys, which are also strengthened by the active ingredients in dandelion root. Detoxification of toxins (and uric acid) in the blood is increased when dandelion root is given.
