MSMcontributes, among other things, to the formation of collagen, which promotes healthy joints, cartilage and connective tissue. In addition, MSM is highly effective at reducing muscle tension and sore joints. Another great property of MSM is that it speeds up the healing process after injuries or surgery.

Rosehipcontainsgalactolipids, which have been shown to have a beneficial effect on, among other things, stiff and sore joints. In addition to relieving sore joints and muscles, rosehip is also believed to help rebuild broken-down cartilage. Rosehip can therefore be a great supplement both for preventing joint issues and for horses with reduced mobility.

Glucosamine from green-lipped musselensures increased production of synovia (joint fluid). Synovia is found in tendon sheaths, bursae and joints. It is produced in different parts of the body, but has the same general function: to act as a kind of lubricant that allows tendons and joints to move more smoothly.

Several studies show that glucosamine appears to work synergistically with MSM and rosehip meaning they enhance each others effect.

Nettlereduces soreness and swelling in the horses joints.

Spirulinais high in super antioxidants. Horses that have had joint or muscle issues for longer periods, or horses in hard training, are often deficient in antioxidants and may therefore benefit from a supplement. At the same time, spirulina has been shown to minimise irritation and soreness.
