Green Tea contains many catechins (some of the most effective and beneficial antioxidants available), especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which destroys free radicals in the body.

We especially see that horses with stubborn fat deposits benefit from a Green Tea supplement. Unfortunately, not much research has yet been carried out on Green Tea and horses. But in humans, researchers have found that those who were dieting and at the same time took Green Tea every day lost body fat more easily compared to those who did not take Green Tea. We often see the same effect in horses, especially if the horse is also exercised.

Green Tea also contains natural antihistamines, which are believed to help counteract the swelling and irritation associated with heat rash.
