No collar is required, as Sureflap reads your cats microchip. The cat flap has selective entry, and everyone can get out.

  • Uses 4 x AA batteries, which typically last 12 months (batteries not included)
  • Two-part construction for easy installation.
  • Fits doors up to 6 cm thick without accessories.
  • Can also be installed in glass from 3 mm to 6 cm thick, however this requires an additional glass mounting adapter.
  • For pets without a microchip, the SureFlap RFID collar tag can be used (sold separately)

N.B. It is important to check whether there is metal in the door, as this can interfere with the sensors in the cat flap. This can be done by holding a magnet against the door. However, there are some metals that cannot be detected this way, for example aluminium, so you may need to cut a small hole to check.
