Pure B-Plex is a complete, pelleted and 100% natural FoodState supplement with B vitamins.

The B-Complex vitamins are all water-soluble vitamins, including Thiamine (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Niacin (B3), Pantothenic acid (B5), Pyridoxine (B6), Biotin (B7), Folacin (B9) and Cobalamin (B12).

In a healthy horse that receives enough forage, B vitamins are generally produced in adequate amounts by microorganisms in the hindgut. However, during and leading up to coat change, as well as in stressful situations, the horses digestion is often under extra strain and therefore does not produce enough B vitamins.

A B-vitamin supplement can therefore be beneficial in spring and autumn, when the horse sheds and grows a new coat, as well as during hard work or stressful situations such as transport and competitions.
